Rebecca & Dylan

Rebecca & Dylan’s wedding was sun-kissed, easygoing, and full of joyful energy — a day on the beach that felt like their life together: relaxed, meaningful, and overflowing with the good stuff.

The Story

College acquaintances → college friends → “wait… do we actually really like each other?” Rebecca & Dylan first met at Quinnipiac University, orbiting the same classes and friend groups before anything romantic ever sparked. Their first official date (even though they would never have called it that at the time) was a simple happy hour near campus — easy, fun, and surprisingly natural for two people who had spent years in the same rooms but never quite on their own.

Somewhere along the way, friendship quietly turned into something real. Dylan knew early on: Rebecca’s warm, joyful energy, her easygoing vibe, her caring heart — it all felt effortless. She made everything better just by being in it, and he couldn’t imagine a future without her.

The proposal? Classic and sweet. Two days before Christmas 2023, Dylan got down on one knee in Central Park. He thought he had pulled off the surprise of the century… but Rebecca absolutely saw it coming. Didn’t matter. It was still perfect — Christmas magic layered with proposal magic, the kind of moment that becomes family legend.

When it came to choosing a venue, the beach was an instant yes. They both find peace near the water and wanted a celebration that felt relaxed, beautiful, and totally them. The Pavilions at Penfield Beach checked every box: a deck for sunset cocktails, a blank-canvas party space to customize, and the sound of the ocean playing backup all night long.
