The Story
Callan and Joe met as students at Fairfield University. They were in each other’s orbits/social circles for a while, but it wasn’t until their senior year when everything just clicked.
When an international pandemic derailed Joe’s proposal plans (we’re talking shuttered jewelry stores and quarantines here, people!) Joe was forced to get creative and wear many hats*. (*Literally and figuratively.)
An invitation to a “fancy dinner” lead to Joe playing the role of Uber Driver and the conversion of their basement into a true Italian Trattoria, complete with tablecloths, drippy candles and a curated playlist to set the scene.
After Callan said “YES!” Callan and Joe couldn’t wait to start planning their wedding at Penfield Pavilion; their first kiss was on Fairfield Beach and it seemed fitting to start the next chapter of their lives where their adventure started!
