The Story
Weird Together Forever – their words… not mine! Adina & Eric met at the University of Connecticut. This fun-loving couple met in an untraditional way; they “fought” each other inside an inflatable boxing ring. Was it Pat Benatar who said it best “…Hit me with your Best Shot?!”
Adina & Eric had been friends for a while before they realized they couldn’t stop (or rather, didn’t want to stop) thinking about each other. Not every groom-to-be could get away with proposing with a roll of toilet paper, but hey, 2020 was a weird time for all of us! (Don’t worry: the ring was hidden in Eric’s pocket!)
Whereas Adina & Eric weren’t able to tour The Pavilions person, they initially fell in love with the pictures of Penfield online; it was beachy, local and a good price point. They incorporated a lot of DIY décor to give the day their own spin and to not make things too formal.
Per Adina, not everything went according to plan (not because of the venue!) but the couple just laughed about it so people wouldn’t take anything too seriously and just focus on having a good time!
